Dear Prospective Buyer,

I operate on a Pay What You Will (PWYW) basis.  This is a commercial model of freedom that encapsulates the essence of what I would like to be as an artist.  Art is not a conventional commodity and in my opinion the value of a painting can’t be measured by anyone other than you the buyer.  Therefore I give you the freedom to respond in any way that you want.  Any reasonable offer will be accepted…PWYW!

Having said that, let me explain a little more about what I am offering. These are all original oil on canvas paintings.  They are on heavy duty gallery wrapped canvas and have been glazed for permanency.  They will not fade or turn an odd shade of cyan with a few years of light exposure like many of the paper prints we all have hanging on our walls, they will still look pretty good in 100 years ;) or so.  These paintings take an average of 30 hours to complete not including the time I spend just thinking about what it is I am trying to do or just staring at the work in progress asking myself ‘is it done yet?’ or ‘should I stop now?’.  Sometimes I get lucky or especially inspired and it all comes together in much less time.  Sometimes the do-overs run into the countless and ‘who cares anyway this is fun!’ number of hours.  So effort is difficult to gauge but again what it’s worth to you is all that matters.

My husbands' first words were, Oh Wow!   He 💕💕💕the painting too!  Took it to Michaels today and picked out a fabulous frame that compliments all the colors.   The more I look at your painting, the more it grows on me...the details everywhere are awesome.   I can see why and how this painting grew on you too.    Ha ha, it's mine now!   There is one thing that I am unhappy with, your signature is too small and not prominent enough.
